You were both blessed ~ in your love for each other, your special times for just the two of you, for all the memories you made together and what meant the most to both of you when you were together. Thank you for sharing your wonderful dad and your precious memories.

What lovely memories. I am sitting at my desk at the office in tears - not sobbing, but not far off.

I love the way the landscape and the silence you shared with your dad tell the whole story of your deep connection. Tears come and a bit of envy. I did not have these with either of my parents. Thank you for offering such tenderness to someone who has longed for it.

This story hit me hard at having the keys to a place that hold the memories. Especially reading so many woes of the folks in Los Angeles that lost their homes that only have their keys. This would be a good reminder that even in the devastation the keys hold some of the memories.
